Zambia’s Afro/Hip-Hop gospel star, Pompi, and Rapper/producer Mag44 has released the official video for “Luyando” the 7th track from their 2019 joint album, BWANA. The song features Zambian media/TV personality and singer, Lulu Haangala, and Sam Chitundu.
“Luyando” is a Zambian word that means “Love”. Pompi and Mag44 use “Luyando” as an opportunity to redefine the concept of Love which seems to be one of the most misunderstood concepts in our present world.
Pompi delivered his “dope” verse as usual with an artistic rendition of lyrical metaphor, using the characters of a card to express his thoughts of warning to ladies who are most often the victims of fake love. Ending his verbs with the fact that Love is a beautiful thing, Pompi sang the chorus in his dialect with his sonority reminding of his multi-ability for not only rap lines but song tones as well.
The Lyricist and Producer, Mag. 44 laced up his verse with a couple of Holy Verbs and Wordplays saying that “Romance is the life, Love is the action.” His verse described True Love to be proven when actions of affection are sustained in a marriage relationship after the flower and vibe of youth’s beauty are all but faded.
